Our team

Air Chathams has been operating on the Chatham Islands for over 25 years and with the mainland New Zealand communities Whakatane, Whanganui, and the Kapiti Coast more recently.   

The airline is well and truly an integral part of the Chatham Islands local community and endeavours to have the same connections and relationships with newer destinations.  

We pride ourselves on being actively involved in developing local economies and communities by providing a safe, and reliable connections between our destinations for freight and scheduled passenger services. 

We have two main offices. Our head office is in Te One, on Chatham Island and our mainland New Zealand operations are managed from our base at the Auckland Domestic Airport. This is where our engineers, operations, management and customer services teams connect, report and function. Many of our team members are based around the country, supporting regional growth and communities while we serve our customers with the same dedication and commitment Air Chathams is known for.
